I doubt it was sharky he posts on supraforums and is a pretty nice guy. It could of been a friend or someone else's car all together. And 10's while impressive is sad if you are saying thats the fastest in the world. The turbo's have been out for 5 years now and the aftermarket is strong. That might be the more well known turbo 1/4 numbers but, there are 911 turbos much much faster than a high 10.
Whats more impressive in the trap speed. I saw one of those cars trapping 140mph!!!!! ****ing A thats fast.

Stephen's yellow twin was the heaviest of the group, and I believe the least expensive to build. We literally took out his kids car seat, and put in a Das Sport bar and some Sparco's. Stephen's went 11:0 at the shootout with almost every option on the car (navigation, etc.) It also spun the wheel inside the tire about 4 inches. We suspected that, and made a mark across the wheel and tire-sure enough-they didn't match after the last run.
I suppose the end all-be all is that there is ALWAYS someone with a faster car. Anybody who tells you they have the fastest car is probably misinformed, or arrogant. The fact that Stephen's car has well over 150 dyno runs, and it's his daily driver-makes the timeslips that much more impressive.

Yeah dogg, for reals.. this aint no civic.com forum with coffee can mufflers and wooden wings, but my homeboy's TS Supra 3.0L can smoke any 996tt cuz his Supra runs 8.64 sec quarter mile @ 35psi boost. Peace to all my homies in H-town! Hollaaaaaaaa......haha!

yes, Eddie Bello was from NJ- the magazine articles of the time said he was the big east coast threat, etc... I'm not SURE it was a 993 though, although that IS what I said eariler- I found one article & it said he bought a 1993 C2- it weas NA- he DID turo charge it & then got an 11.9 @ 1/4 bone stock w/355HP- I'm pretty sure that's 964 style... anyone here know? Anyway, he quickly raised the bar & I don't think he even has that car anymore- I'm pretty sure he sold it long ago b/c the same article said he was looking into a newer car w/multi-link rear & I think the 993 was the first to get that- I don't know my 911's well enough- I just know I love them & they're out of my league....

A stock 993TT can run the Nordschleife several seconds faster.
Is this on the same track length then it's not that impressive.
