We had an HKS SS BOV on our previous 951,venting to the atmosphere, worked perfect and sounded great.
You can use any blow off valve you want really,so long as you buy a universal flange,or make your own,cut a hole into the pipe, mount it,put the blow off valve on,run the vac lines and plug the intake boot.
Now if your running set specific turbo kits / Mass Air Flow sensor set ups,you may want to follow standards given with the kit.
But if you want something to get around on the stock set up,any will do.
Hks,Greddy,Apex-i,at low horsepower levels its really a matter of what you think looks and sounds better.

I'm using an HKS SSQV. There is a very simple way to use it with the stock IC pipes. Buy this guy's flange Ebay
You need the 25mm one (same size as the stock BV nipples). I used a miscellaneous drink cap to block off the J-pipe port, and then used a misc. hose from autozone (not sure of size or part #). I found it nececssary to remove the stock airbox intake from the fender so I could run the BOV in front of the coolant tank. All it took was the $20-30 flange, $5 hose and the BOV works perfectly.
On another note, I was previously using one of the standard billet BV replacements avaliable. Mine was fairly new and good condition, however it still leaked considerably in off throttle conditions. I noticed a big improvement in response with the SSQV. After my billet BV experience, I would have to say there really isn't any point wasting money on those when you could buy a better one the 1st time.
