Where to find 944 Turbo S interior cloth ?
A friend of mine is looking for restoring his 944 Turbo S interior with the specific Burgandy plaid color. The driver seat would need a good refresh (the passenger one is still correct).
Do you know where to find cloth or used seats ?
PS: he's in France, but can buy anywhere if it's interesting

Hopefully something will have changed, but Le Mans didn't carry the turbo S fabric when I checked a year or two ago. I've toyed with the idea of working with some friends in the schmata business to commission a repro, but I think it'd be tremendously expensive.
BTW, that fabric fades dramatically. I've seen an extremely low mileage car and it was red, not the pink often seen. A replacement seat may be very different in color from your friend's current interior.

Not to be smart, but is your interest for originality or preference? Like strong dark beer, I suppose the unique 88 Turbo S pattern is an acquired taste. Sellers of the relatively few 88 cars with alternate optional interiors usually place a premium on their "lack of plaid."
