I've got one for you and I believe it's the tolorance you need but I'll have to check. It's out of an 89 and sitting on my parts shelf. I'll check it out and pull it from the rod this evening. Just tell me what you were hoping to pay for it and it's yours.

I checked it out and it's a 1 and sitting in a box and ready to ship so send me your address and I'll get it in the mail tomorrow afternoon. I kept the wrist pin but included the retainers.

Where is the part number in the piston? Can you see it if the piston and rod are connected? Is the only way to tell what tolerance group it is via the part number? In an engine, are all pistons from the same tolerance group? Thanks!

Tolerance group 1 944 Turbo pistons are 99.99mm, i can get you a set of brand new Kolbenschmit pistons 99.99mm with rings and pin clips for $600 if you are interested. But this is a whole set (of 4) not 1 piston.

2zeros: If you have the cylinder head off the car, and if you clean the piston good enough, you could see a "0", "1" or "2" stamped on trhe piston face, indicating the tolerance group. Yes, all pistons should be the same tolerance group.
