Thats one of the handiest tools I have ever bought for working on a 944. I've had mine for about 5 years now, its great! Bleeding the coolant system takes about 1 minute and you don't have to mess with it afterwards and you never have to wonder if the radiator cap is bad, either.

Regards,

You're right Scott. I could have found this problem much earlier if I had the tester. Nice point about using it to bleed the system. Another plus.

Tony,
I'm planning on replacing a bunch of my radiator hoses this weekend so I may try to get in touch with you on borrowing that for a bit. Making sure everything is buttoned up tight and easy bleeding of the system sounds like a nice thing.

I would love to help, but I have a wedding to attend this weekend. Any plans of another NoVA Ned Devine's get together any time soon?

Would you knock it off with the Ned Devine's talk?
I'm trying to get this car ready to race in two weeks.

I am down for some beers at Ned's just about any night next week..

I would also like to start planning a 951 meet / BBQ / Engine install party hosted at my place sometime in mid to late may
