Air Fuel Ratio

Air Fuel Ratio
Hi, I am running Guru chips, no shims, one range colder spark plugs, and using an LBE. I worked with a mechanic in settin everything up, and the car pulls very well. We have used Guru map number one which is normally used for 18 psi, but we have measured peak boost on a hot day (it gets very hot in summer in my part of the world) at 13.5psi with an after market guage. In theory during winter we expect to hit 15psi.
Also on a hot day, the air fuel ratio was mesured with an after market guage at a maximum of 11.5 (ie, the number did not drop below this). Is this acceptable? I don't want to run lean, nor too rich either. The car does having popping sounds from the exhuast (2.5 inch stainless with no cat) under normal driving since adding chips and turning up the boost.
All thoughts appreciated.

It's always better/more fun to raise the boost to match your fuel, instead of dropping fuel to match low boost
Especially when you are still running stock WG.

ebs: You are running that rich due to two reasons:
1) The MINIMUM boost on Guru v9 chips on FQS 1 should be 15psi and the MAX should be 18psi (little boost on the FQS 1 runs rich)
2) No shims, no "better" wastegate makes boost drop off even more, thus running rich as well.
Set the boost to 15psi (both winter and summer), set it in 4th gear and either shim the wastegate or get an aftermarket one.
