I have the 993 one and you can hear it as well(between shifts)...of course it is dumping into a MAF metal pipe. A friend of mine has the 993 bov and you cannot hear it dump into the stock j-rubber.

when my LR one started causing compressor surge I went to a mates place to try his out from his EVO. Low and behold he had an almost identical valve he paid $80 for. So angry

Default Bov/Bypass...what are we looking for?

I got that same chutter you are talking about and it was my original old school 164k Bypass valve with the rubber diaphragm(torn). When I replaced it with the 993 one I have not heard it yet. Now, like you said I am only running around 15psi on the boost, and have a stock K26/6.

So on BOV/Bypass what is it we are looking for here?(Bypass I just put Bov for those that call it that...and don't actually blow it off
Durability(metal housing, metal piston, two seals?..replaceable springs??)
What kind of pressure do we want it to open up at? and how does the amount of boost we are running effect that. Stock K26/6 or 8 turbo @ 14.7 psi Stock 993 part should work(what does it open at?)

TIA

Seems to be the most talked about so far.
So what makes it great?
Does it stand up to upgrades as well as stock configs?
Any mods required for fitment?
Where would be the best safest place to get one?
What is the part number?

Sure, basically not enough air is expelled by the valve so it rushes back through the IC and to the turbo and you get a "gobble" sound. It stalls the turbo and is bad for the compressor.

How come a company with such name as Lindsey could not troubleshoot that problem?

Does affect performance at all?

So when my 993 Bypass goes or when I get a bigger turbo...I guess it is EVO.
And based on what I am hearing I will be set for the rest of my 350rwhp or less life???
