Default MBC Test A Success!

Thanks for all the good advice Rennlist! As the attached pix show, I took a stab at a test fix on my overboost fuel cut off. Placed the Lindsey Dual Port Manual Boost Controller in line between the previously plugged line off the IC pipe banjo bolt and found a handy place next to the windshield washer bottle to secure the controller temporarily.

Using only a screw driver and a pair of scissors, a mechanical miracle has occured. Perfect fix for $60! At full throttle, the 89 Turbo rockets through 2nd and 3rd, with factory boost needle bouncing off 2 bar, immediately settling at 1.75 - 1.8 and staying there all the way to the red line.

All good. As soon as the boost gauge, AF meter and panel arrive, I'll stick the boost controller in the cockpit and replumb the rig more cleanly so I can tempt myself more often with the other worldlish Power Of The Boost.

Congrats,
BTW, why not place the MBC in the cabin ?
I had mine mounted below the CD player.
Gives you the flex to adjust the boost pressure
when driving.

That's next, wanted to make sure the MBC worked as expected/hoped first, before figuring out a permanent home for it.

You should run it inside so you can quickly add or take away boost
