Cd and Frontal Area

EuropeanCar did an article about HP vs. speed a long time ago, and used the 944 or 951 (I don't recall which, but think it was 951) as an example. I think it was summer 1996. I may have the issue, but it would be upstairs in the garage, and would take a while to find. I did make a spreadsheet at the time that used the formula: MPH**3 (cubed) x 0.000058725. This appears to yield reasonable numbers. I don't recall how that number was derived, but it was based on Cd and area. I'll see if I can find the issue.

Turbo Cd with rear wiper 0.33, without 0.32
Frontal area... sources all say 1.89-1.90 m*m
If you want the formulae related to drag forces, let me know and I'll post them. I already did a 3 page derivation and calculation for the drag limited top speed of a chipped 951 based off those two numbers plotted against road speed and accelerational forces to find the theoretical top speed of a chipped 951.
If anyon'es interested... it's 165. So what I had a lot of free time on a road trip to do this? I was bored!
