Default What 4 channel amps fit in the rear cubby? UPDATE: Pioneer GM X404 opinions please

I used to have a pioneer in my old 944, but have since lost touch with it. Does anyone know what model 4 channel amps can dimensionally fit in the rear cubby? I know you want to reply Robby!

Have you fitted the F345? Whats the dimensional difference between that and the F340 that you think its a possibility only?

I had an old F356, it was about 240mm x 45mm x 200mm, I have not fitted the 345 or 340. I believe the 340 has a smaller footprint than the 345.

IIRC Alpines site lists the dimensions for all their amps on each amps spec sheet.

One thing to keep in mind is that heat is the enemy with audio electronics. So if you are going to have it in the cubby try to keep some room around it for circulation.

If you can find a 'Class T' amp using the Tripath technology go that route. They sound great and gie off very little heat relative to a normal amp.

I'm running a blaupunkt in bridged mode and its great.

ADS PQ8 4x25 IIRC, a PQ12 6 channel will fit there to I believe.
