Default Stage 3 Dyno

Courtesy of SpecialTool... The run is with a Vitesse Stage 3, 2.5L stock engine, 3" exhaust, dual port WG, MSD, race fuel at 25psi boost.

This is a load dyno, they usually read lower than a DynoJet.. The 2 dips that are caused by a worn/damaged distributor rotor..

I think there is some left there... We will use this run as a base for the Vitesse Big Valve head, which SpecialTool is getting.

What kind of gas do need to run 25psi?

Nice numbers!

What caused the distributor rotor damage? Is this a casualty of high boost?

Wow look at the boost curve. It would be
great to have a turbo that produce those
curves on pump gas.

I see Torque, HP, O2, and Speedo. No boost.

Boost is 1 bar at 3156 RPM. This was my top priority - lowering spoolup.

I lose 4-5% power using my pump gas timing map.

The rotor tip was blasetd into nothingness by the MSD. I suspect from making dyno runswith stock wires 2 months ago.

Yeah Special, my guess it's to do with too much
resistance in the stock wires.
