Default What's your opinion?

I have been debating the offering of more items for the 951. I'm only interested in offering performance related items. Only items that have been proven on the dyno to offer gains. Keep in mind, that I have been using some of these components for years now, just never offered them to the general public.

Please voice your opinion (good or bad) on the following items:

* Cylinder head:
- Base refresh with performance seats
- Big valves
- Big valves, Big ports (require intake manifold mods)

* Water injection - this offers you full control when using the PiggyBack at a fraction of the cost of other full blown system with better functionality. You can even have intercooler cooling setup as well as injection inside the intake.

* Cams - From the mild to the wild... (cams must be selected to match the head flow).

* Entry level MAF - mainly for stock 951, 944.. We provide you with the software (custom chips) and you pick up the MAF we recommend. You do some of the leg work, you get the hard parts, we just provide the software...

* Complete race/street engines - 2.5l, 2.8l, 3.0l, 3.1+l

Please keep in mind, that we only offer proven products. They are not the least expensive, but they do work!!!

I would definatly be interested with the new 2.5 2.8+ crate engines. It will be good knowing there is an engine replacement when my 2.5 raises its last piston.

How about stock-location intercooler option that does not require a weird bulbus vent panel?

Complete engines. Cylinder heads etc. What I like about this idea is we will be buying from a very reputable vendor.

There are already a few engine builders (Broadfoot, etc.) that have decent reputations, though not quite the same as Vitesse. They're ALL ungodly expensive. If you're thinking there's seriously a market for people to drop $7K or $8K (or more) at a whack, I'd say go for it, but I'd be suprised if you sold more than a handful per year. Is it worth it to go through all the difficulty of rebuilding an engine for that kind of profit margin? Maybe and maybe not. There's also a LOT more risk that an engine is going to come unglued and give you an unhappy customer than individual performace parts. I'm not saying anything bad about your ability (which is proven) or anything; it could happen to a very well-remade engine. . . Weird stuff happens. I have to say though, I'd probably feel more comfortable buying a "ready to run" engine from Vitesse than any of the other vendors out there. . .

Default Water injection

I think that water injection would be next for me. Hopefully it will be an easy addition. It gets so hot here in Florida so anything to lower temps.
Thanks, Eric

I would be interested in an entry level maf.
I have been wanting to try to fit a MAF to the stock J pipe and mate to a stock airbox but really wanted to go with your chips.

I think if you maid all of those it would be awesome!

I know special tool has his eye on that water injection/cooling

I personally would like a MAF that is affordable (under300$)

Good luck hope you can make all of them so all of us can spend money that we don't have!
