We'll be rather easy to find, just look for a bunch of cars with FIN plates. I'll be the one with the graphite 951.

The Nordschleife is a typical example of a place where track knowledge and the willingness to take risks results in much faster speeds than raw power.
Last September we passed a 964RS in Fuchröhre (one of the fastest parts of the track) - 4-up in a rental new Beetle Convertible TDi... And myself - in my 951 - have been passed by locals in anonymous Golf II's... The trick is not to let yourself get baited into following someone when you have no idea who the driver is and the capabilities of him or his car.
The atmosphere, hugh variety of interesting cars and many automobile enthousiasts makes for a wonderful place to spend a weekend.

Cool, I'll be there as well with sami and guys.
Hopefully I will beat 9min BTG.. Last year, which was my first visit there, I drove 9.25 BTG..

I am hoping to go across this year at some point, will post up when i have a date maybe catch some others there.

Fancy a rear facing camera with a 968cs riding shotgun very close behind ? I think this is one of the best videos I have done as it really shows the steep gradients of the track.
