Ok so my car is gutted from the driver's seat back. Since it used to be a track car i enjoyed the extra little kick i got from all that weight being gone for a littlw while. Now, however, that i installed my strereo system i pretty much cant hear it unless it's blasting and im going under 60mph. Since it is my daily driver i want to have some form of sound reduction so i can listen fullly to some wicked tunes. How much would it cost and where should i get my car re-furnished again with sound deadaning material and so forth. I live in waterloo ontario, which is very close to toronto. So if any one knows of any shops that do this please inform me and possibly give an estimate on the price. I think like 1.5-2k canadian?

If it is a track car I don't really understand what the stereo is doing in it? ![Wink](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Why don't you just put all the sound deadening stuff back in the car and pull the mats and stereo out when you are getting ready for the track?

Lol well simple... i dont track the car the last owner used to. Its my daily driver as i stated earlier thusly i want to tailor it to be just that. As far as the track goes... looks like im going to be blasting Enrique and Backstreet Boys as i blow past everybody

Go to a audio shop and get that dynomat sound deadning stuff then get a used carpet kit to lay on top. Its not cheap but it works good.
But really if you were trying to pass my while listening to the backstreet boys, I jerk my car into a guardrail to stop from listening to that crap.

If you want some of the original stuff back, call Randy at WhaleTail, He is in Waterloo and has tons of used Porsche parts. His phone #519-699-4911. You could also try Porschapart in Toronto.

Randy usually buys cars from the states, refurbish, and sells them. I have one of his old cars. He may still have some stuff and he is very close to you, but what colour is your interior? also, maybe check for some of the recent track car conversions and ask those guys if they want to sell their interior? if not, an easier way would be to take it to the track and realize that it will be way more fun than blasting backshot boys! of course....then you will have a whole other budget to worry about.
