I get a fairly consistent 18-19MPG, but that's about a 60/40 hwy/city mix, plus the fact that I'm addicted to boost!

I guess the only way to know for sure is to take a nice long trip somewhere. Hmmmm. Maybe in a couple of weeks I'll go visit my buddy up in San Jose or something.

I get about 20 mpg in town, but I've gotten closer to 30 on the highway. This is with Guru 15 psi chips, ReliaBoost, and 3.0 BAR FPR running mid-grade CITGO gas.

944 turbo owners shouldn't care about gas mileage. I get "many smiles to the miles".

On a long trip from San jose to L.A. on fwy 101 , I got 410 miles out of 18 gallons. that is about 23 mpg. At a crusing speed of about 80mph. This road has a lot of hills , so it uses more fuel

Same with my gauge - Where is the sending unit located? Is it on the top of the tank, under that cap? I havent looked around for it at all, but if fixing the problem is as easy as cleaning the sending unit, I might as well do that!

I also should have an extra in my parts car, if for some reason mine is beond cleaning. What all do I have to do to clean it?

Thanks,
Matt

Oh - and I normally get somewhere around 330mi on a tank, or I guess closer to 3/4 of a tank, since my gauge never reads full! I think I check my mileage a while back, and it was somewhere in the 23-25mpg range, so pretty respectable I think. My car is also bone stock.

Driving mostly highway and secondary roads, I was getting about 425 miles a tank. The car had a test pipe and Autothority stage 2 chips.

haha, I only care because there's only 3 stations in town with 94 octane. It's a chore getting gas!
