Mike B,
Beer is good!
Jim 944S
I could not agree more.
Interesting side note - if you click on views, this thread is the second most read post on the turbo board. Second only to ski's track car post. Now if you go off topic......grid girls blow all away. Interesting indicator of where our interests lie.

Hey Cas951
I started laughing out loud, your wife sounds exactly like mine.
Graduated from Princeton and Stanford....can she boil an egg or put in gas or check the oil????? Nope...just an utter blank stare of confusion.
I love her though

I started my car with the new engine over the weekend. I let it idle while I bled the system. The rad fans wouldn't kick on so I chased down the fuse, relay, etc. Everything checked out. Cranked it again last night and let it run for quite a while. As I shut it down, the fans came on for about 10 secs. Wow this rad is GOOD!

944Willie,
To answer your question, no I am not tracking the individual shipments. I figure that will be better done by the interested party. Vested interest and all.
MichelleJD,
It is allways nice to hear that after a major overhaul, an engine started right up and ran for a while. Testiment that the job was well done. Kudos!

Anyone, other than me, not get their radiator yet?
I just realized that my card was charged on 6/26, so disregard my post.

Michelle/anyone who's swapped theirs already,
My car's going in the shop Monday. Darn thing overheated on me yesterday, and looks like I've got a leak somewhere (got antifreeze running underneath the car), so sounds like a good time to do the radiator.
I'm picking up the rubber bushings from Porsche on Monday, but I need to get the new bolts you guys mentioned. Can someone please tell me EXACTLY what bolts I need to buy (size, length, etc)? And, what type material should they be - stainless?
Thanks for the help...
