A dealer is required to perform safety recalls.

Thanks guys I called the number and the one recall has been performed, but I thought that the headders and crossover were recalled to the later style. Guess not. I have about four different leaks on the old headders and the one piece crossover.

If it is a safety issue there should be no limit.

IIRC, the exhaust manifold update on the early turbo cars was limited to 5 years or 50K miles from the date of manufacture.

This was not a safety recall, but rather an emissions warranty issue.

Another safety recall is that small hose on the fuel rail.

I contacted my dealer here and they informed me that the recall is "open" and i should get it done (for free offcourse).

I don't know how things are like for you guys in the US. But over here, it is covered because it is a safety recall. Things such as the x-over and headers are not (here anyway).

I have heard if you gripe enough they will at least pay for part of the header upgrade.

It's illegal to refuse service if a safety recall has been issued.
