Quick gasket question before I place an order.
Im not exactly sure I have everytyhing I need. I am replacing the exhaust manifold gaskets and installing my new wastegate as soon as the weather gets warm. I think I just need this o ring:

and not this one because I have a 2 piece crossover?

Last question. I thought I needed 3 rings to do the wastegate? I only found the WG to primary exhuast and WG in(2pc Xover). Is that it? I think I may need a WG to dump tube?
EDIT: I need 2 of these for the header to crossover pipe and then 1 more for the WG out? So 3 of those total plus the other 2?

TIA -Mike

You will need:
- Exhaust manifold gaskets IF you actually remove the exhaust manifolds
- two rings for the maniflold to crossover flange 944 111 204 04
- one ring for the crossover to turbo flange [same ring as above]
- one ring for the wastegate to exhaust flange [same ring as above]
- maybe another for the 2 piece crossover [not sure what size this requires]
- one entirely different ring for the wastegate to crossover flange 993 111 195 00
Do yourself a favor and replace ALL the hardware except the studs, and use the copper nuts throughout [Paragon, Zims].
Do yourself another favor and fit the entire assembly up loose [just barely tight enough to keep the rings in place] until everything is together. Torque the fasteners when everything is in place. It takes a little wiggling to get everything aligned.

I forgot to say the manifold gaskets, but those were in the baskets as well. I also ordered those saturn studs that everyone talks about. I bought some automotive grade nuts from a hardware store. They arn't copper though. Does it matter that much?

Just added the rign part numbers to my post above, to help you out with that.
When you need to take any of these pieces off again, the copper nuts will come off without breaking studs. The auto shop steel nuts probably wont. Your call. Broken studs on the wastegate, crossover, or manifold flange are no fun. The copper nuts are good cheap insurance.

Ok, I went ahead and ordered copper nuts. I wondered why they were 3 bucks a piece on Lindsey and 5 dollars for 20 on Paragon. I might also have a conflicting part number on those rings. On the last part they said 205-04, not 204-04?

Alright, I think I'm all set. BTW, I read archrived data on wrapping my headers while they were off but I'm deciding on ceramic coating instead. Now, I think I want the 2000 degree stuff so I wont get any flakes in the turbo. I have heard of this swain (guy or company?) that does them. Where can I get in touch with them?

I would believe that's correct. It also a lot thicker and supposedly more durable ..
It's just looks like white frosting :-)
