Thats insane, your so lucky to be ok! Sad story of black ice is one of my friends hit it and went upside down into a telephone poll... he didn't make it, so im very glad to see your alright..

Let us know if your going part it out (another way to get money back for a new 951).

Oh and if you need info about getting a wreck back into the US, let me know and ill ask some coworkers. I work at the Pacific Border Crossing at a large customs brokerage place.

Well, since the buzzards are already circling, do you have a batwing?

I'm serious about it, but now is not the time to be asking for parts.

Wow, that is really sad.. I know the feeling since black ice took my 944S2 as well. Imitated a Ping-pong ball between the dividers of a highway.

We have a saying,
Any landing that you can walk away from is a good landing. It holds true in the air and on the ground. I've done both. Glad you're safe. Good luck. E

I'm so sorry to see this news.... BUT I'm so glad that you are okay. I have repeatedly heard that the 944 body offers great protection in the case of accident, and I'm so thankful that it held true for you. Wow... you were the original owner, too...

Here's to finding another Porsche that you can enjoy for 17 more years.

Shoot me an email, I've got some advice that could help you in recovering from the loss and get into a new 951.
