For those with an aftermatket boost gauge and like white faces
I was onto this company (Drivers Edge) for months to produce a tacho without MPG or Boost incase the gauge was disconnected (as is often the case with a standalone) or not used given an aftermarket gauge is employed... well seems they now do one!

Good find. Would a 944 (non-turbo) gauge cluster not work in the same manner?

Only for 86 models, i believe 87+ came with the oil level sensor (maybe wrong there).

I do the same thing NZ, just a warning to guys that have 87+ cars. Sometimes on the '88 N/A (with ProCarParts.com white face gauges) the ANNOYING IDIOT (!) light will be on but no other lights will be shining. This lets me know to check the oil level, prob 1/2 quart low.
One more thing, at least on my white gauges, all the small lights above and below the smaller gauges are missing. I.E. I no longer have a low fuel light, a low voltage light, a high temperature light, or a high oil pressure light. You actually have to look at the gauges. And get gas early.

Dumb question: Using a computer scanner, Photoshop etc., and some white mylar instead of paper in an inkjet printer, why not scan the stock instrument gauge faces into the computer, and just print out mylar decals in whatever color you want?
Then apply the new decals to old faces, cut out holes with Exacto knife, and go with that? I think you can probably buy sheets of white mylar with adhesive peel-off backing. Using Photoshop, you could write or change the script, numerals, etc. to whatever you wanted. Maybe even paste in a Porsche logo, or whatever.
Why wouldn't this work, and be pretty inexpensive?

Implied insult aside, it's not that much work to scan some flat speedo and tach gauge faces into the computer, change colors, etc. , and print.
Suppose you have a blue car, and so want blue numerals on your speedo, etc.. Photoshop would be easy.
And, I usually leave 15 to 20% gratuity, unless dealing with a gratuitous smart-***, in which case they get what they have coming.
