Laust: Yes, they are out (look on page 2 or 3 for how much was under there)

Perry951: Those fuel lines may look bad due to dirt, but it may/may not be replaced by the PO. Anyways, the intake is back on and CV is shot (shout out to Rob for this) but i am adressing the fuel lines next month (student + finances = limited budget).

You mentioned an intake manifold vacuum line update kit from LR that replaces the old stuff, but I can't find that on their website. Can you point me to it, or at least tell me what category it's in? Their website isn't the easiest to naviagate...

Matt, If you put idle stabalizer or venturi into the Search, it pulls up the hose kit.
It doesn't get much easier then that!

Andy,
Take off that pic!!! DONT compare both my car and yours!!! besides, you also have many brackets removed and don't live in a desert

Wes: Here is post 3 for LR Venturi: (click on intake, then miscellaneous)

http://www.lindseyracing.com/Merchan...KEMANIFOLDMISC

PS it is not a LR kit, its just the updated OEM hoses LR sells. Unlike THEIR vacuum line kit.........

Oh does Lindsey extrude their own hose? I thought that would have been some silicon hose you can buy at almost any hose and coupling store.

Hosrom,

Is the samco hose I bought and brass T's from a local fittings shop now the NZ951 kit? Or is it still samco's hose? Thats the point I am trying to make.

Raagi,

The hose is I think dash 10. It just fits over the AOS, but I made a made connector piece. It fits perfectly on the can. I got my hose from Scralets and Waterloo Rd. But you can get it at most any hose shop, the only thing is that the dash 10 size does not seem to be consistent between manufacturers.

Hussam, If you use red color plugs and vacuum lines, you might get some extra HP. Everybody knows that red will give you more performance. I have painted all my engine bay contents red, look in my sig how much power Iam making mostly from the color change.

Also, toss the CV valve, install the boost controller. If you pull that cv mounting plate, just remember to add washers, or the bolts will bottom out before they get tight. Jack up the passenger side of the car, put a jack stand under it, reach under pull the old hose off the wastegate and install the new one that will run to the controller, shouldnt take more than 5 minutes.
MAN would i have loved that advice a few months ago! I went from doing the job in this thread, to pulling the head... well, if imma pull the head, imma mod it... if i do that imma...... look at the sig... it wasnt a steep slope, its a cliff!
