Washing of the cylinder walls may be a problem but apart from that I would think that it would be better to cut just the ignition? The unburnt fuel should ignite in the crossover pipe and keep the turbine rpm up. Especially if you use this as a launch control that would be desirable.

Burning Brakes
Nice one!!!!...
I tried this on my Link2 is it has it built in, It will use ignition cut to hold a programmable RPM when the clutch is held in, you can also program retard to it spool the turbo as well. My biggest problem was making the switch somewhere close to biting point otherwise the clutch would tend to slip.
You can program a 'rate of rise' in 1000's rpm/second to prevent massive wheelspin. The flatshift is also similar but it can pull timing, open the idle stabilizer and ad fuel to keep the turbo on the boil.
Retard makes massive heat through, I would not put my car through it unless it was a ***** out racer.....Its great the MSD can do it for the money it costs.

B951s - the trick is to activate the switch at the TOP of clutch travel, not the bottom. At the bottom, you have to calculate the time of clutch travel - or you are sideways - and I can get pretty sideways when it is 15 degrees F outside

This is a really cool Idea.
...I bet this could be done via the coding plug but isnt the factory rev control a bit harsh??

been doing that for 2 years now. Only I use it to launch as it will spool on the limiter plus I can consistantly launch during street races. I bought a dial adjustable one so I didn't have to chips all the time. I used a small push button switch and I release i9t when I come off the clutch. I flatfoot shift off the limiter!

I don't use a chip I use a dial adjust box that adjusts from 1000 to 4500 just turn the **** it's an msd piece just look in nthe catalog. The two step also creates nice flames and a loud bang at times!!

SpecialTool, Your custom chips goes out in the mail tomorrow. I have it set at 3600rpm. You will be able to toggle it via a switch on the steering wheel or on the clutch pedal..
