Not to start anything but i got to ask this:
Fast951: The old vitesse stage 3 was capable of making ~440whp at 22+psi boost correct?
Now, the new stage 3 hits 405whp at 24psi.......was the difference of ~35whp needed to improve the power curve? not to mention the additional higher boost?
im NOT starting anything with anyone IIRC, just a SIMPLE question

Hosrom - no, I hope to be at 450 next dyno with a cleaner AFR. My last run was very bad AFR.
I just put the stuff on and went to the dyno - literally. No prior tuning experience, whatsoever, either.

Special Tool: That would be nice, but i was considering the % gained/imrpoved for the power curve, since 90% or so of the stage 3 owners would be street driven and low boost, that's what i was thinking of, not max hp

Hosrom, SpecialTool did 405rwhp at 24psi.. He was experiencing 2 problems: (1)rich mixture, didn't fine tune it. (2) had stock exhaust and butchered cat/testpipe.
The second car did 410rwhp at 22psi...
As I mentioned in previous posts, the new Stage 3 was designed for: (1) quicker spoolup (it comes on about 500-700rpm sooner than the old stage 3). (2)To supply enough air for over 400rwhp.
Both were achieved... I have no doubt that 450rwhp and similar torque are attainable with this turbo.
Making big numbers is great, but what I like the most is the area under the power curve...
This turbo is in the sweet sport between 18-24psi.. very efficient. The same car with the new Stage 3 will be faster than the same car with the old stage 3. Now you have a larger area under the curve.
Now if you want GREAT spoolup, and high 300s HP/TQ stage 2 is the way to go... The best of both worls...

Mid-to-high 300whp at your recommended boost levels would be nice. Do you have anyone testing the stage 2 yet?

That is my third option !!!
