Its not a secret about the turbo you can keep forever! Its not like a compound that changes when interacting with others under temp like rubber for example, you sell these turbo's and any number of people including vendors can and probably have ripped them apart to see exactly what has been down machining wise if they feel its something they need to see, and measure and see what components make up the turbo... I think you need to look at another means of protecting your "magic" under a patent if its really magic and has other applications.

I opted for a magical pixie dust option. I'm out of town for the weekend (posting from Buffalo), but even if I was home I'm not going to post about the turbo without John's consent first.

Compared to the St2; i expect the St3 to be laggy as h...
Luckily there are no long straights in Norway. He will never catch up
Me 2 Eivind! When we`re done tuning in the car, I got some nice places up here we can do some testing... A place called E6! Heard about it? (kinda like a highway ) just kidding

Looking forward to do some test Eivind! I`ll bet that your ST2 spools very quick. It will be very exciting to see the difference between spool up / rwhp on the to cars!

Buffalo huh thats not far from me.

John the site has the updated prices on it correct? Also when you state the spool up approximately how much would you expect it to decrease from those numbers without a cat? Just trying to make my final decision on if I want the stage 2 or 3 ive almost got all the money owed to me so I should be ordering soon.

Yes the site has the updated prices now, quick spool is no longer an option, each turbo will have it.
As far as spoolup, the new Stage 2 will hit 1bar boost between 2900-3200rpm, new Stage 3 between 3200-3500rpm.

VERY conservative figures

As far as 60-1HiFi hitting 1bar at 3200, that's the best I have ever seen!!! Whaterver you have done, it's working.

Hang on, your site says "Stage-III is capable of delivering serious horsepower and torque. Boost (15psi) around 3600-3800rpm with quick spool upgrade"... I take it you have not updated it or something?

Here is a datalog off the Link into Excel. And it was off WG spring pressure only as well, EBC unplugged and with no real tuning... I want to see how it goes with a 2.7 though!

NZ951, doesn't the chart you just posted display 0.85bar at 3000 then more boost (less than 0.9bar) in mid 3000? Am I reading the graph correctly?

to think I've spent more then 5K on this car in less then a year, some lots being upgrades (inluding head work) I could have gotten a stage 3. I'll seriously consider it after i do suspension. at least a stage III with head work and such should be even funner!
