I am an NP

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I'm a Nurse Practitioner, which is sort of a "low rent' doctor.

Funny. I always thought Doctors were low rent NP's, or perhaps NP's with high rent egos.

84black944, if you're new to ME, it's the most diverse engineering program out there. You get a little bit of everything... I think it's the best field out there, myself.

BME Georgia Tech, 1992. Got my 4-year degree in 6 years (co-op). I went ME because I loved cars and envisioned a future in the auto industry. Definitely the most diverse engineering degree out there. I think 1/3 of my degree was electrical. Now in my case, I should have listened to my father but it all worked out in the end. He told me while I was in high school I should study computers instead.

Fast forward 15 years and I've been an IT junkie for the last ten, specializing in workflow systems that benefit engineering and production. I think Dad and I were both right.

I am an infrasructure consultant for IBM. I architect, design, and deploy world-class enterprise solutions for global clients. My only complaint is that I dont drive the 951 enough.
