One more vote for the clear headlights with Xenon projectors.
Any ballpark price range?

please please work with Iceshark on the headlight kits, I have never seen a vendor with so many good reviews. If the two of you work together the quality will be... amazing. Both of you seem to know your stuff.

factory wiring? i don't think my car has much of that... hm. in fact i don't think it really has ANY except a few tails from the turns / taillights etc to the factory connectors

worst case use the factory light harness to trigger relays powering the HIDs from the battery.

We have many new and exciting prodcuts lined up……. we have full metal work, fiberglass and carbon/kevlar capabilities and can construct pretty much anything!

Here are some of the products we currently have under construction and that are in the final development and testing stages:

Carbon/KevlarParts:
front splitter/undertray (Flat Bottom)
rear undertray/diffuser
rear adjustable spoiler (3 designs of wing available)
strut brace (like the factory one)
Intake manifold (like the factory one)
Intake pipes + air box
doors and hoods
gauge pods
fuse Box
sunroof panel
Miscellaneous Interior carbon/kevlar and light weight aluminum components

Other parts we are working on:
Supercharger kits
Pedal Kits
SS 4-into-1 Headers that are true equal length (soon to be released)
Custom mapped software + WBO2 kits (soon to be released)
Full SS exhaust + cat back systems (will be finished in the next week or two - a 3inch & 4 inch system based on the Cup cars will be available)
Brake kits...... that BLOW Big Reds away! We are working in conjunction with Brembo direct on these!
Full roll cages/bars (available now)
Floor boards – DME/KLR mounting boards (available now)
Headlight conversion kits – 2 versions will be available. A twin H9 version and then a Bi-Xenon version. (available soon)

These are just some of the things we have lined up…… the most important thing for us is to take our time and to make sure what we offer is functional, has the best build quality using only the best materials available and that our parts fit as good as stock.
So please be patient…. soon as we are 100% happy with our items, then we will offer them for sale.

Cheers,
Paul

Paul,
Sounds like you have some great products planned. I'm really interested in a composite hood that will vent the IC in conjunction with a fixed headlight header panel. Please keep us posted on your progress.

David, yes all for the 951.... but 968 and 911 versions will also be offered.

Just to give you an idea of what performance gains we are achieving....... we took our stock N/A 1987 911 3.2ltr and obtained a base line dyno reading.
We got a wrhp of 191, which is pretty respectable as a base stock number!

We then put on our 911 race headers and exhaust system and managed a rwhp number of 209.
Then we added our custom chip and got a rwhp number of 219!
So in total we managed to achieve a 28rwhp gain on a NON-TURBO car!

The torque was also increased and we managed to achieve a nice wide torque curve that pulls strong from low revs all the way to red line.
To my knowledge this is the highest numbers for a 911 system I have seen...... and we DO have the dyno numbers to prove it!
We did test some of the major name brand units on the market as a comparison..... and got VERY disappointing numbers!
We put over 2 years worth of R&D into this system and the result of this shows!

The above 911 system and dyno info will be added to our website by the end of the week.
Also I will try to post some pics, sounds and movie of our 951 test pipe and cat back in the next few days. Soon as the 951 parts are finished.... dyno and data will be provided.

Jon, 3 versions of a hood will be available... stock, vented and then full race.

Cheers,
Paul

Will the stock hood have the recessed areas for the clips/retainers, like the 951cup hoods?

This is great, looks very promising. Thanks for keeping us up to date. I can't wait to spend some money.

Exciting stuff, outside of the thought of being broke!

What are the benefits of your DME/KLR mounting boards? What are they made out of?

tifosiman,
Are you referring to the hood pins?
This will be an options.... you can have with our with out.

I don't have pics of the 951 hoods yet.... but these are some of our 996/986 hoods.

Working closely with our suppliers we have developed our own exclusive blend of U.V. stable laminating resin for use in all our products. Our resin is ultra-clear and has a UV rating of approximately 7000 Hours /1000 Hours is equivalent to 1 year in Miami climate/ and has a very high impact resistance. We specialize in the use of Carbon Fiber and Carbon/Kevlar combination.

Our hoods feature:
Beautiful weave patterns with rolled, not cut edges.
Smooth high gloss finish.
Full factory-style under frame.
Aluminum reinforcement in all hinge and latch areas.
Plated steel latch mounted with flat head machine screw for a clean, smooth look.
All holes for hinges and latches drilled and tapped for perfect fit.
Frames are fiberglassed to the carbon skin for maximum safety / our hoods have been track tested to 250 km/hr or 155 miles/hr with-out hood pins.
Available in several colors for an extra unique look.yellow , red , blue , orange , and our own specially woven "V" weave material.
Custom designs or inlays for that truly one of a kind hood available.

More info and pics soon.

Cheers,

Paul R

Wow, I can't wait to see some of the 951 specific stuff! Sounds great!
Another cool item for later down the line would be carbon/kevlar 968 aero mirrors for our 951's.

Adam H,

These are now on our website.

http://powerwerks.net/944_floorboard.htm

This replaces the factory wooden DME / KLR Mounting board located on the Passenger side footwell. Available in Black or Silver Anodize, custom colors available at additional charge. Made from 3/16” 5056 Al. Utilizes factory hardware. Water jet cut.

Benefits:
- Reduced weight and increased strength over stock unit
- Improved safety through non-water absorbing material unlike wooden stock unit.
- The KLR and DME is mounted individually unlike the stock unit which is overlapped. This makes for fast and easy removal.

944 Fanatic,

Way ahead of you.... mirrors are also on the agenda.

Cheers,
Paul

Yes, hood pins. The current CF or FG hoods look like stock ones, while the turbo cup cars had recessed areas for the pins and circular clips to lay flat. That nice touch would differentiate your product from those offered by GT Racing, etc.

The following two shots show the recess in the hood for the pins, and the mount bracket in the bay to receive the pin on the passenger side.
