Mount your exhaust maniflods to the head before you reinstall, much easier.

I am sending my head off for a basic rebuild and O-ringing, hopefully it will be ready in about 1 week for re-install. Tomorrow I will dremel the sharp flash off the cuts the valves made in the piston dishes.

eclou,

Get the head rebuilt but don't bother about the O ring. Just use an MLS Gasket. Its better than the stock gasket even with the O ring detail. You should check the Rod bearings as well. If the Pistons tagged not only could the Valves be bent, the bearings can sustain damage also.
