I like it! Sounds good. You can really hear that turbo too.

How's the level inside the cabin? Is it annoying at highway speeds or pretty quiet?

under 3000rpm it's very quiet inside the cabin. actually, it's very quiet even at higher rpm's as long as it's not under full load. the screaming only occurs when you're at WOT. with minimal load it's very quiet, quieter than any other 'performance' muffler i've heard so far.

in the sound clip, the first three gears is what you'd hear in normal everyday driving. well okay, normal everyday driving if you're driving to conserve gas, but you get what i mean.

By the way, I have a TRR SS muffler and it comes with a bolt in baffle to make it as quiet as stock... its a great function.

andrew; that tailpipe looks like it's at least a 4" diameter. is there any reason you went that big? i'm assuming the rest of the exhaust is a 3", or is the rest of your exhaust also 4"?

I think its 5" acually...

I thought a big tailpipe would fill the space nicely...

Its a bolt in cone which slips inside the tailpipe. Seriously makes it as quite as stock, so when I feel like a boy racer I can, when I want a quiet ride its 2 bolts away.

I love that sound. I hope mine sounds that good. I wish someone could fab an exhuast that sounds like one of them new maserati's. Last time I got to drive one, I revved it to about 7500rpm (red line was around 9000 I think) and the sound was so awsome I nearly creamed my pants. Too bad most of that is due to the engine not the exaust but still I wish our 951's could sound like that.

Rich,

How do you like your AIR splitter? Why get that one over GT?

any muffler with baffles will be quieter than a non-baffle muffler. conversely, any non-baffle design will always flow better than a similar baffle design.

the trick is to design a free-flowing baffle-less muffler that's also quiet, something that the porsche stock muffler does amazingly well by using triple-resonation chambers. it's just too bad the stock muffler is a 2.5" pipe because it's a work of art;

I don't like the GT splitter because it is flat, not 3d, and the sides stick out too far. The AIR splitter molds to the stock bumper 1000x better.

Obviously...

But I want a loud exhaust at times. Other times I want it quiet, hence the TRR muffler choice. Without the bolt in baffle, its a straight through muffler... which is great for performance.
