chapstic, getting the front swaybar off is very straightforward. Just loosen the support bolts and remove the whole thing as an assembly.
Getting the end bushings on requires a bit of patience and liberal doses of WD-40, but it's easy.

Good luck...and I'd say replace all of your coolant hoses as some look rather soft. Also, it might be good to replace the two main fuel hoses coming out from the passenger-side fender. You can either use generic FUEL INJECTION hoses or go the route of Pauter (sp?) or Lindsey Racing fuel lines, which use AN fittings. You should be able to find much information in the archives with a search.

As far as anodizing goes, the aluminum is placed into an acid bath that strips the oxidation and dirt, then the aluminum is placed into a die tank. You can have the alumiun hard coated, or get reds, blues, golds, ect. SAPA in Portland, OR does this.

Sweden, who manufactures a j-boot or pipe that allows the stock AFM to be relocated closer to the fender and feed off the air inlet?

Wow, this has been a lot more receptive that I had expected. The fuel lines may have to wait as will a MAF. The budget is fairly tight this go round. I am getting married in 3-months and one day...but who is counting.
NZ951, pm me what you are look for on your j-boot. I have the feeling that S/H will be cost prohibivitive.
Sweden, I did a dry fit of the stock AFM and there would not be any realistic room for the stock box and still allow the headlights to raise. Again working on a thight budget and wanting to make the car road worthy some things will have to wait.
Who is up for a Loudoun get together? Ned's, Jimmy's or Kirkpatrick's?!?!?!?

Sorry to be so unclear. I meant that I consider to put the box in the fender. You can put the AFM closer to the turbo and then have a conical filter just behind the head light.

Id say save up for a MAF or just put the stock snorkel back on.
Also replace some of the coolant hoses, theres one thats right above the turbo thats a PITA to replace when it goes.
For the vacuum lines, Lindsey sells a kit of 30 feet of silicon tubing and brass Ts. I bought a tubing kit from a shop that had a varity of lines, so I replaced a few of the bigger lines.
