Question Vitesse stage II vs III?

I've read his website and am curious as to the results those of you actually using these kits are getting. According to the dyno on his website, it looks like the stage II is getting just over 400hp/420lbft while the stage III is reach 440hp455lbft

What are you guys seeing in the real world?

That's also the "old" kits. If you look I think special tool just made 405rwhp on the new stage III on 16psi with some fuel additive (not sure what and I'm to tired to look it up.) I **believe** though I may be wrong that 440rwhp number was done at 24psi on some 100+ octane. I'll let John reply though as he obviously knows his products better than I can guess at.

I meant I was asking those that have thses kits if they have numbers on pump gas boost levels and the dynos charts on the site, to my understanding, are very high boost and with race gas. To show the total potential of the kit, but does not show the day to day performance of the kits. i.e. on pump gas boost levels, 15-16 psi.

I thought those were higher boost levels as well. That's why I was asking about 'real world' results such as 15-18psi on pump gas, etc.

The latest 405rwhp run was not at 16 psi!
It was at 20+ psi and not on straight pump gas.

The old Stage 2 & 3 are no longer available. We now have a new line of turbos. A brief description of the new kits..

- New Stage 2: Quicker spoolup than previous Stage 2, capable of making more HP. I don't have a dyno graph for it yet. Based on customers input, it's no slouch. I expect the 1bar boost figures to be in the 320-330 at the wheels. Top figures to be in the 380-400 at the wheels.
- New Stage 3: Quicker spoolup than previous Stage 3.. 15-16 boost it did around 350rwhp. The actual potential is not yet tested. So far 405rwhp with stock exhaust, stock engine (except cam), no fine tuning (rich mixture). I expect the top potential to be in the 425-450 at the wheels.

Many people questioned the dyno charts that were based on my race car. So I decided to have a selected group of customers (with their knowledge and approval) perform the actual dyno testing.
SpecialTool is doing the new Stage 3. The Stage 2 car did not make it to the dyno yet.

Performance is part of the equation, reliability is the second and most important part. The new turbos have been reworked for better oil management (no smoke and no need for a oil restrictor), all internals are machined to exact clearances.

So what's the new price on the new stage II set-up? Have you established one yet?

(fumbling for credit card and trying to decide if I really need cable.....)

The prices are the same as on the web site. However, there will be a price increase around mid January.

I am currently trying to push about 330 rwhp on 91 Ca crap.....and no additives.....at 16 to 17 psi and will be using waterinjection..I am hoping to cut additives out relying on the aquamist to help out with detonation..still debating wheter to use water only with 10 or 20% alcohols or by itself..I mainly want to controll detonationI
I have I believe one one John's older kits.......and keep in mind...before the complete engine rebuild I had 309.5 hp at the wheelsat 16 psi and 369.2 rwhp at 19...heck let's say 20 psi...of course a blend of pump gas and race gas was used on the second run.....
my goal is to have 330 rwhp at 17 max psi ...I have since added 3 inch exhaust and some other minor performance stuff and with the aquamist.......dyno time in a couple of weeks..
So what am I saying.....these kits are great

I understand the turbo had a biit more work input by you then the regular stage 1...funny thing Cory told me he was sure it was stage 2...oh well..I am still more than satisfied with it...allthough I don't thin he got your quick spool option........when the turbo need rebuild...or maybe sooner...your new stage 2? maybe 3......

John,

Perhaps you should stated what the expected hp for the stage on street pump and 15psi on your website. Or conversely state that the dyno graph on there are from run with higher boost and race gas.
