Default Aftermarket sway bar bushings ?

I need new sway bar bushings. I use the car for auto-x and DE's, and have 200 lb coilovers at the front.

Does anyone make an "improved" front sway bar bushing (for the stock sway bars), and are they worthwhile ? The car is in the shop as we speak having failed inspection for the bushings.

Any help ASAP would be appreciated.

Also, they said the bushings were destroyed by a leaky "oil pressure switch" - is that the same as the oil pressure sender ?

Paragon and Pelican list the pressure sender as #PP928.606.203.01 for about $60, but the shop quoted me $95. Pelican also lists an "oil level sender" at $88.

Thanks,
Mike.

Check these out:

These are from Racer's edge and I have heard they are nice. I am going to install the fronts, but I have a Weltmeister rear so I can't use the rear.

As far as the oil pressure switch, I am sure someone with more knowledge can chime in.

I've used and would recommend the Delrin bushings. Less compliant, less wear, and not susceptible to degredation from fluids.

Yes oil pressure switch = Pressure sensor. You dont need the level sender as that is only for 87+? engines. 86 engines dont use them.

According to Paragon, the Delrins are only available for larger than stock sway bars. And no, I'm not going to update my sway bars to match the bushings

Thanks for the help.

Sorry man, I assumed you were running bigger sways. You would be wasting your time with better bushings on the stock sways IMO.
