Length of oil cooler lines?

Can somebody give me the approximate length of the oil cooler lines (between oil filter housing and the cooler).
Would be much appreciated.

I assume you mean the ones shown in the attached image?
If so, the braided line is about 19 inches long from the large fitting at the left end to the smaller fitting where the elbow attaches (length includes fittings).
The rubber line is about 14 inches long, measured from where the hard pipes emerge from the crimp points at each end.
So, are you having new hoses made? I've been thinking about doing this myself, at least for the rubber hose. But I'm not sure where to go for the right hose/clamps.

Well, I'm getting them made for a customers car. I would've measured them on another 944 turbo, but it's not exactly something I wanted to do when they're on a car...
I am getting replacements made (superior to factory stuff) locally. I can get a set made for you if you wish for $50 + shipping if you'd like. Heavy equipment places (that'll do this sort of thing) can produce replacement lines, re-using the old fittings fairly inexpensively. I try to get all my hoses/fittings made locally to specs that are far superior to factory pieces.

The $50 I gave you is just a number I threw out, I'm sure the actual cost would be less. If you want to wait till the next time I'm making a run out there, I'll get them to you for whatever I have to pay for them... Eitherway, it would have to re-use the old fittings, so that would have to be shipping both ways. You could only send me the fittings on the way here, which would make shipping a lot cheaper. I've located new fittings (that would eliminate the step down adapter btw) but the total cost of everything comes to just under $200 when going that route.
I say "superior to factory" because often times it's easy to specify hose/lines that are rated to twice (or more) the heat/pressure rating of stock lines. A good example of this is the fuel lines. If I recall correctly I had lines rated to 10 bar and 450 degrees (continious), and the cost was less than $30 for all 3. However, as diameter goes up, so does price...
If you can find a place locally, that would be the easiest way for you. You could look under heavy equipment repair, or diesel specialists, or similar. It's amazing what some of these places can get, I still remember finding a fitting for the water pipe for another customers car (seldom is a true garret turbo's water pipes clean looking when installed on a 944 t).
