Songzzz, what you up to car wise?
Have not seen a post in a while, curious to see what happened with your product issues...

Yeah it sure would suck to have that kind of experience with a vendor, then to have all your personal information including address displayed with a single perspective of the issues presented... ouch I have never seen a vendor publish that kind of info in the Porsche world before.

I've seen it with every vendor I've worked with, including Porsche-specific, usually in the form of bounced checks taped on the wall. Name, address, and the vendor's account of what happened. Extending it to the internet is the natural thing to do.
Don't want info exposed? Don't swindle.

Its only one side of the story though... Andrew said they double charged is cores IIRC etc and had many issues with them. I would have thought in todays society in the US that publishing personal address details on the net would have been illegal...

It is, as long as the contract between buyer and seller is not broken - by swindling, it is broken and all bets are off. None of these vendors will release any info to anyone regarding honest, paying customers. I've tried to get old order info from a couple places, and though I was looking up my own info, I still had to provide many forms of verification to get my own info back.
It is one side of the story - Andrew's never tried to clarify his side of the story, and he's certainly had months to do so, making me think he doesn't have much to defend himself with.

I was quite curious as well, as I was interested in buying his engine/parts. I thought his defense was weak, he did not provide a single detail of the "issues" which made me wary - he never started that "new thread" where he said he would explain.
Good luck finding him.

But it's okay for Songzzz to come on here and blast Lindsey? Only one side of the story? You haven't seen him because the truth came out - simple cut and dry. There are many rennlisters from overseas that I value their input, their knowledge, their wit, and trust their comments. There are others though whose the size of their ***** are related to the distance from their home country to the US; because of all the Porsche events/get togethers/races/reunions held here - paths will cross here in the US.

Is both sides of the story posted on the LR site? I was not aware... I thought they published it.
However, maybe he has not been here because he sold the car. Who knows, maybe this thread will uncover some things.
