In the process on installing my new SFR 38mm wastegate and I have a few questions. The wastegate adapters are already installed from SFR, but they are reversed from the factory setup? In other words the crossover pipe feeds into the bottom of the Tial instead of the side like the factory? Now the wastegate is oriented differently?

Is this because the wastegate is a dual port design?

No, it is because the Tial is like every other REAL wastegate in the world - not a piece of **** like the stock 951 unit.

It is supposed to be reversed from stock.

 

I made that same mistake when I received mine. Found out just how much boost a stock K26/6 would make. Luckily it just blew off my intercooler pipes and not my new head gasket. The tial is oriented differently. Be careful and call Tim or get some directions.

I just got my tial from SFR last week, I might just get my local shop to do the install but are there directions for a DIY. I still have to hook up the MBC and figure what to block on the cv. anyone know where I can find install instructions?
