Default Turbo T-Stat Question

Does anyone have a list of symptoms for failure of a Turbo cooling thermostat (the one for the turbo, not the main thermostat)?

Thanks!

Premature turbo failure?

I guess you could feel the hoses (small ones) to see if they're heated up (carrying coolant) or not. . .

Mine was missing and it would take forever for the car to warm up on cold mornings.
After I replaced the Tstat, the car warms up real fast.
Its cheap to replace and remember to replace the plastic elbow while you are at it.
You will need to drill open the coolant passage in the elbow as they come blocked for the NA cars.
