I never follow the toque specs either, and it hasnt mattered. Its too hard to keep track of under there, and as long as you alternate it up with a crossing pattern, I dont think its critical. Its hard enough just getting a socket on them. Just a tip, I use a swiveling 10mm quarter drive on a super long extension, that makes the job bearable.

Actually,the factory torque sequence and specs are very impostant...Porsche didn't change their torque specs for nothing..... You want that gasket squished ,just the right way....To much, and you will have oil dripping by the internal metal sleeves, inside the gasket. Too loose, and it will bulge out.

Just keep on doing the torquing procedure , over and over , until they are all at 7ft/lbs. Combined with our oil pan gasket retainers....the gasket won't go anywhere....

Okay, I'll probably just go with the readily available ultra gray. Torque sequence shouldn't be a problem since the block is on an engine stand, and will be upside down.
