I would say go with that white thing you got going. I think if you powdercoated the manifold, stress bar, intake pipe and so on....all white...omg! That would be awesome. Espcially with those wheels. But best of all, it would be different. Not sure how bad it would be on cleaning though. There is also a company that makes vac lines in white and pipe connectors in white...then you could wrap your spark plug wires in white with the lines they have...yeah you get the picture. Youd open the hood and blind eveyone. That would be awesome. Ok im done...

Everything in clolor is powder in my engine bay. Very easy to do yourself and it's very durable. It wipes clean with a damp rag and a light coating of WD-40 really makes it stand out. (not to mention WD-40 is an excellent cleaner for engine bays)

www.columbiacoatings.com - Coating Kits, powder, info.

If you are interested in doing the powder coating yourself, let me know and I will post a tutorial.

I have a lot more pics on my site. Click away.

Yeah, you have 8mm wires correct? Then get a similar size white hose and slit the side all the way down it and wrap the wire with the hose. It looks very clean. I havent seen it done on a wire but i have seen it done on throttle body cables and such. Should work the same...even insulate the wire. Just another thought. It might make the wires too bulky though....

Not the prettiest engine bay... but then again, that's not what I was going after...

I'll post updated ones later (this was taken 8 months ago).

The texture on all the parts mimic a cast finish... a little rough and bumpy. The black is a back base with a silver crackle addative and the red is as close as I could get to my paint color. The textures really bring all the parts together and makes it stand out.

Lots of nice looking engines in this thread!

How do you guys paint the cam tower with the Porsche? Do you remove it to PC it? Or did you paint it while it was on? And how difficult is it to run those SS Fuel lines? Great pics guys keep em coming....
