Default fitting 17x10's on my 951

has anybody tried fitting 17x10 ATP SPA wheels on the rear of their 951? I found a nice set and was hoping there was a way to accomidate the large meats. the offset is set for a 993 wide body - so what do you think?

thanks
tom

I have a set of 17” ATP wheels 8” & 10” with 225/45 and 255/40 tires. They fit perfectly. Maybe I can (and should) squeeze slightly more rubber on the back.

" the offset is set for a 993 wide body "

Is that the 40mm offset wheel? Won't work, you need the 60mm offset wheel.

yea - the offset is for a wide body - therefore, i think it is ET40 as Danno said! however, does anybody know if ATP offers different inners and outers to fit different offsets?

Got a picture? I'm not sure which model you're talking about.

How much more rubber do you think you can put back there? The right side of my car has less fender gap (to compensate for the drivers weight is what I've heard) and I don't think I can go too much bigger than my 255's.

Yeah, but there's about 2" of room on the inside. With the right offset of place more of the extra width on the inside, you can run a 315mm rear tyre on a 12" rim.
