Default Front air splitter

Does anyone have a way of installing the GT racing front air splitter so that it can be released/removed quickly? You never know when you may have to remove the splitter in a hurry and it would be nice to reach under the car and just pop it off.

Well, I haven't installed my AIR front splitter yet, but someone posted a quick way to remove the splitter that I'm thinking about using. They said that instead of bolting the splitter to the bumper, instead use a bolt with a wing nut. That way you can unscrew the wing nuts yourself and it will be much quicker to remove then with standard bolts using a wrench. But make sure you use a washer between the splitter and wing nuts so you don't damage anything.

what about dzus buttons????

you may be able to rivit or screw a plate to the bumper then use the dzus buttons to hold it on.

they are the little 1/4 turn fasteners all over race cars.

The only problem I see with wing nuts is, you will have to make some rather large holes in the lower section to access the nuts.

I love my AIR splitter but it is rather a pain to install.

I used the dzus fasteners for the AIR race splitter, 2 fasteners on each side and it holds up well (at least untill I smash it against the trailer bump stops!! BTW the race splitters do not last in off track adventures, tore one off at Road America, just a little off in the grass and it was gone. The street splitters should not have this problem.
