Can anyone recommend a machine shop in the south bay with the equipement and experience to work on our blocks/bores? I am starting to have doubts about my shop, despite its reputation and client list...
Does Devek do machine work or farm it out? If farmed out, to whom?

I don't know a local machine shop directly, but I have heard good stories from folks using my local P-car shop (www.heyerperformance.com, Mountain View) to work on their blocks.
Tony is the owner, and I believe he outsources the work to his connection of machine shops. I think he charges some fair overhead, but he would also add his value to make sure the job is done well.
If you couldn't find a machine shop, try give Tony a call. He is a good guy and I am sure he can help.
