What would you pay for my 951?
I'm thinking of trying another car out, and may want to sell my car if I can find the right buyer. How much do you think I could get, assuming I am in no great rush to sell....
mods include everything below, LSD tranny has less than 50K miles, engine has less than 4K miles. Body has 144K miles (practically everythings been replaced though). Paint is in good shape, Porsche script seats are percfect. Usual dash cracks, but comes with a dash cap. Rear Euro bumper will be installed before I sell... All opinions welcome, thanks

yeah... but this is oriented toward someone who wants a fast 951. It makes much more sense to buy one thats already put together then to buy a stock 951 and mod it onesself. My car has over $10K in mods alone, not including a new engine and clutch...

dude i understand that, i'm just trying to prepare you for the responses you will get, seems like they have already started in the other thread you have. people don't appreciate the value of a well maintained car with good upgrades until they buy a cheap piece of crap and start footing the maintenance costs.

yes, I understand what you're saying, and believe me I'm not suprised by all the responses in the least. I didn't expect to sell my car on rennlist anyway- I will most likely gear it towards the PCA crowd

Well, it looks clean, im interested if you do plan on selling. Ill be looking come december seriously. I dont think id pay more than 10k unless your car was exceptionally exceptional. But i dont know much bout it.

I am interested in selling, but I woudnt sell for that little, sorry. I will take my time selling the car if it means finding the right buyer, which means someone with $13-14K

10k is not a reasonable offer for that car. 10k will buy a good condition near stock 951, not one that's not only nice but with also with the very desirable cosmetic, as well as mechanical upgrades. It appears to me that nicer 951s are significantly harder to find today than they were 2 years ago. Regardless of what price reports, etc. may say, finding a clean 951 at under 8-9k (stock) is getting very very hard. This car I imagine is worth around 14k and may fetch just above that to the right buyer.

I think you'd be best off to return the car to stock as much as possible, and sell the euro bumper, bridge spoiler, mirrors, handles, splitter, wheels, all seperately. There is $3000 there easy.

I wouldn't want to do all that work, I'd rather just sell it as a whole. I think the car looks great, and I would like to see it go to someone who is going to love it as much as I do.
