I'm looking around for new and bigger wheels for my 99' turbo S.
What on it now are the forged 16" witch are 7" wide in front with ET65 and 9" wide rear with ET60. Using theese with no spacer, and it looks like there is alot of room!
Does the Turbo S have different offsets then other late 944?
What will fit? What have ppl tried on?
What about theese?
A: 18x9 with an et of 52mm and 18x10 with an et of 65mm. Front to wide?
B: 18x8 with an et of 50mm and 18x11 with an et of 45mm. Rear to wide?
C: 18x8,5 with an et of 52mm and 18x10 with an et of 48mm.
In my local 944 comunity nobody have ever used wheels of theese sizes but i know alto of you US guys are running fat tyres. If you can please tell me what will fit, and what wont fit I'd really apreciate it!

Actually I think they are closer to 928 offsets, which allows for wider front tires and compensates for the 9" rear wheels. You can easily see the difference in the front wheels which have something like 10mm more offset than a regular 944 late offset wheel.
My TS came with 7" clubsports up front. I think they are 65mm offset front and 9" 60mm rear. Regular 87+ Turbos were 7" front, 8" rear and 52.3mm offset all around.
This chart is not 100% correct, but I think the sizes are in there somewhere:

My RUF's front wheels are 17x8 et 52 plus 5 mm spacer so effective et 57.
They sit very close to the edge. I can't imagine 18x9 et 52 to fit.
B and C options front wheels should fit perfectly though.
B option rear's are probably to wide but can't answer that definatly.
C option rear's would look much better than the A option and sit more along the edge of the fender.

Turbo S -and actually all later 951's that have bigger front brakes- also have different wheel hubs that bring wheels more outward, about 4mm,IIRC.That's the reason for different offset.
All cars ( at least '87 -> ) have same rear wheel hub and offset.
