Default Danno made another great set of chips.

I havent fully tested them yet, but so far they seem really good. I have a kokeln street turbo, and these guru custom chips. I havent installed the accuboost or the wastegate shims yet, but I hope to this weekend. As soon as i started up the car, the idling was noticibly better. It sounded great too. Since the stock boost controll is in (CV), boost maxed out at 10 psi. These chips are burned for 18 psi, but I think I'll be running only 16-17 until I upgrade my injectors. Im glad that these came beacuse there were a lot of people bashing Danno for customer service. I told him to email me when hes ready, and in the next 2-3 days, I got an email saying that he was shipping them out. From there, it was another 2 days in the mail and they showed up at my door today.
Thanks Danno!

Yep, I was on my lunch break. I went to the post office to see if the chips were there. I did all this running around and then they said they put the package between my 2 front doors.....
Btw, do I need a crane to drop in that accuboost? It looked tiny on the internet. I just think its funny that it was so big when I actually saw it in real life. Can I keep my CV with the Accuboost too? I really just wanna keep it in there until I get my WB system.

Although I don't recomment this. If you want to play it safe,by-pass CV or remove it completely.

A number of us (including me) have experienced overboosting when you leave the CV inline with the Reliaboost. I assume the Accuboost will probably have the same problem. This is because the CV diverts pressure away from the WG, which allows excessive boost build-up when you're trying to control boost with the Reliaboost.

Didn't you guys notice anything? no one is comming in and flaming

Jake: So, if you bypass the CV the overboost would not come on?? Check out my thread : overboosting at WOT. Maybe the CV is failing ?

I had the same issue as Jake.
I ran the line straight to the wastegate, and plugged the CV lines.
Just curious, Jake did you disconnect the electric signal line on the CV when you bypassed it?

You will get overboost running throu CV i had the same thing with Tial WG with MBC, by pass CV problem solved.

Disconnected electric signal line taped them up.

I got problems with trying to keep the CV. I changed to running the line straight to the wastegate, its really the best way to do it. There is no real reson to have two boost control methods in place anyway.

Ditch the cv...

Are you running stock or do you have an aftermarket boost controller? If you are stock, then the CV is part of the boost control system and it may be failing. Once you bypass the CV, you pass maximum pressure to open the WG, which means less boost. If you have an aftermarket boost controller, like a Reliaboost, then bypass the CV because you only want one boost controller to control the WG.

No, I left the wires in place. It shouldn't matter either way because the CV doesn't do anything to affect boost once you bypass the CV.

The only reason I want to keep it is beacuase it controls boost cut if the mix goes lean right? Or is that the knock sensor? I think I heard of this, but if the CV doesnt control that stuff, then I'll ditch it tomorrow before work.

The CV controlls the boost and cuts of fuel when too much boost to present (KLR chips set at 12psi or so).

The knock sensor retards timing if any knock (detonation) is picked up.

You can keep the CV but run on stock levels, thus the accuboost would help spool up faster:
