Default be wary

Hi bjorn, I would be wary, if the cylinders are bad a rebuild with new pistons can cost as much as an 86 is worth. I just found out the hard way. and I agree that 9k is too much for an 86, california or not. my 86 that locked up is in the shop and I willl be thrilled to sell it after it comes out for a lot less than 9k.

Alright, looks like I'm gonna wait for another then. It's getting frustrating because there aren't a whole lot to choose from that are in decent working condition around here! JonM, I'll give you a call soon -- I finally got that all worked out. 160k miles has me a little worried, though.

I saw a lot of pretty nice ones on ebay in the last wk. especially in the upper price ranges, Both of mine are alpine white but I lust for a guards red car like the first one I had. Sazw a couple on there that wre in california too.

Hey rhesus, I'll sell mine for a price. Shoot, everything I have can be bought if the price is right ;o)

PM me if you're interested. It's in great shape and I've dumped some good money into upgrades and new maintenance. Plus you could test drive her as you're not that far from me. I'm right next door to Willow Springs Raceway.

I'm looking at a possible 993TT purchase and would need to let my '89 go to offset the cost.
