The narrowbands uses a 0 to 1v signal with a very small values range. You just need your stock O² sensor and a gauge ($40 to $100).
A wideband system is far more accurate (linear signal between 0 and 5v) but you need a wideband sensor, and a wideband gauge. It should cost between $400 and $600...

you can't tune your car with narrowband. narrowband basically tells you if the car is running rich or lean.
you CAN tune your car with wideband. wideband will tell you just HOW rich or lean your car is running, so you can make adjustments.
there's a related thread here;

Not to be rude, but a narrow band is very inacurate.
If you are going to spend the money on an a/f gauge buy a wideband. Narrow bands are pretty light shows and thats about it.

I tried to do my boost gauge install and I have my power hooked up for the lights but I bought 1/4 inch od (Outside diameter tubing) instead of 1/4 inch id
Let me try to finish this tonight. Also do not hook up power for your air fuel gauge to the ashtray, as it will only turn on with your lights!!!

sorry for the delay, but i finally got my pictures up.
in the first picture you can see where i tapped the vacuume reading (near the fusebox) from near the center/bottom of the photo. it's a very short run to the right and then through a tiny pinhole i made in the stock grommet on the top/left. this enters the passenger area underneath the dash.

the second photo is the gauge installed in the a-pillar pod. the second blank spot is for a future a/f gauge;

That looks … nize. Sorry couldn’t help it.
So you apparently have something like this in mind. Your vacuum line routing probably is somewhat better than mine, which may be a little too long running from the KLR.
For the AFR meter I can recommend to run the O2 signal (pin24), the 12V and ground from the DME box. That way you know what the DME box sees and will not be relying on different ground potentials, as I unfortunately am.

hahah excellent laust! in fact that is the exact same autometer gauge i've ordered to plug the spot as a temporary solution. i am eventually going to replace that with the wideband gauge as soon as zeitronix releases theirs.
if anyone has any details and/or photos on wiring an autometer gauge, i'd greatly appreciate it.
