Default Rear Wheel SMOKE!!

Hi,

Just please don't flame or jump on me for this, but you know how in the "944 Turbo Meals" video that red 951 is burning out and releasing all of that white smoke from the rear wheels? Well, how can I do that, please label gas/clutch/gear positions in order to make this possible. The tranny has LSD.
Thanks

Put some bleach on your tires, then try it

1. 2nd gear
2. rev to 5000 RPM
3. dump clutch and put foot on brake enough to keep it still.
4. Watch tires spin
5. Wait for big bang from back end.
NOTE: THIS IS EXTREMELY HARD ON YOUR CAR AND I WOULD RECOMMEND DOING THIS UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES.

Or, if smoky donuts will suffice:

1) Find enormous empty parking lot
2) launch car softly, less than 5 MPH
3) crank steering wheel to the left (or right I suppose it doesn't matter)
4) Floor throttle
5) Watch tires spin/smoke billow
6) replace bald tires
7) sell Porsche to someone who appreciates it
8) buy Mustang

How to do it? - Lots of track time and autocross practice. Controlled drifting is not an easy task to master so practice in a controlled environment is a must. (along with nerves of steel and lots of guts)

What is needed to do it? - A well balanced powerful automobile and proper application of power.

Yep, 944fanatic is on the right track. Rage2 did some difting without problems (he's pushing 460whp at 25psi or so).

Easy launch, turning left and full throttle is fine, just don't drop the clutch at high revs.........

Oh yeah, make sure you have some $$$ for new tires

Step one, swap trannys with me, as you don't want/need an LSD tranny for your intended use. You want an open diff.

Step two, read some of the above directions, they are spot on.

Step three, same as Step 8 above... you'd really be MUCH happier as a jockey in a pony car.

Regards,

You may want to change that to right incase he doesn't have the correct oil pan baffle.

Top the oil level, make sure she's full (and a little extra wouldn't hurt)

Something like this?

I was only pushing around 350whp on this clip at low boost. No need for clutch kick, or ebrake, just a good knowledge of car control. It's not really hard on the car, just the tires.

You need LSD to do it.

I need LSD I pulled out on a road today, stuck it in second still turning...
I was trying only to accelerate, left a 50' black bark with the right tire instead... which in its own right was kinda neat, but not the point of my actions... Someone give me a LSD tranny

I was told right hand turns are what causes the bad bearing? Can someone please clear this up? thanks

I dont mind the drifting, its a bit of fun... but cleaning your tyre of the side of your car sucks... as does the fact that tyres are not that cheap, and its a hassle changing them.
