Dude, no one knows what causes it... wear and tear! People have thought about this for years, basically, maintain your car well, replace them if you are ever down there... and live life. You dont not go to "Hooters" because you may get shot by the postman who is having a bad day. .
Turning and doing a donut or a drift or a 1/4 run is not going to specifically result in a #2 bearing failure. If its going to go it will when it likes. Sure doing fun stuff puts more strain on... part of life!

This has been a huge debate for years. You can search and read tons of threads and you will find all kinds of hypotheses about what causes the #2 to go. I can't definitively tell you why it happens. But I can tell you that you dont have alot of G forces while doing doughnuts, since you have relatively low adhesion. I think you will be ok.
