Ok, here's what I did, but no smoke at all from the rears.
2nd gear, around 20mph, pushed the clutch down, revved to 5500rpms, suddenly removed my foot from the clutch, and moved my left foot on the brake pedal, while still giving gas. How hard do I have to hit the brakes? Are my feet doing the right things?

Doesn't bleach affect the rubber's traction? Can I really do that?

Regarding the donuts, does turning left and accelerating, or right and accelerating cause the #2bearing failure?

Thanks

Wasn't it mentioned that you should NOT drop the clutch? even if your car is stock you could break a CV, AXLE, etc....

Did you watch Rage2's video? hard turns, full throttle gives you what you want.

dropping clutch at high revs

1. 2nd gear
2. rev to 5000 RPM
3. dump clutch and put foot on brake enough to keep it still.
4. Watch tires spin
5. Wait for big bang from back end.

Doesn't "dump" mean to suddenly remove your foot from it?
What are you talking about?
I'm talking about running from a stop.

Yes, dump means suddenly removing your foot from the clutch. Eventually, that bang you heard form the rear could be something breaking.

You are better off by leaving it in 1st gear, take a sharp turn and give it all the gas. Second gear works well in that situation too. If you noticed on the video Rage2 posted it showed him shifting from 1st to 2nd and fulling flooring the throttle on 2nd gear while turning, thus drifting. NO DUMPING CLUTCHES!

Oh well, my car.
I'll keep trying until I get it right.
There aren't any lots that large that are free of cars anywhere around here to even try and attempt what he was doing.

in second from a stop - that just keeps it from overrevving....
then follow steps 1-5.
I STILL WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS.

Mills,

After I dump the clutch, please explain what I am suppoused to do.
Am I suppoused to continue accelerating at full throttle/half throttle?
How hard to I brake? Do I brake with my left foot, while accelerating with the right?

I was only pushing around 350whp on this clip at low boost. No need for clutch kick, or ebrake, just a good knowledge of car control. It's not really hard on the car, just the tires.

You need LSD to do it.

Click on the link, watch the video and listen to the engine and gear shifts.........

How does the saying go.... "youth is wasted on the young"
After you pay for a few blown clutches, tires and drive trains
perhaps you will out grow such foolishness

Honestly, i think that that if you have to ask, you probably shouldnt be doing this. Im 17 and apparently, im supose to be the one doing these kind of things. But, why would you do it with a porsche? Your just asking for trouble.

However, what we have done in my friends camarro was, first gear, from a roll, slam gas. Itll get your rear tires spinning and just shift into 2nd when appaleable. You can depress brakes a little after that and youll sustain a burn out. We did this when his tires were bald and we were gonna bring em in the following morning to replace. Not suggested on new tires, itll take months off it in seconds. Gobs and GOBS of torque is the key here.

Im 17 too, and just replaced a clutch. It totaled over 3000 dollars with parts and labor pal. Let me tell you, it took me 4 solid months of working to pay for all of this. I didnt even do any burn outs either. I think you are treading on THIN ice doing all of this abuse. It isnt reccomended. Just my 2 cents.
