Like everyone else mentioned yes, the light output is crud compared to stock. However, my headlight motor/setup was Toast and i was sick of trying to get it back working so i went with this setup. How often do I drive the car at night? Not Much. I would really like to fiberglass the buckets in and go with some Hella's like JPR or 944Fanatic. (FYI, Fanatic looks like your just using a plate, do you have that screwed into the sides of the buckets, whats the light discharge like with that?

944 Fanatic has one of the few setups that will give you good light output (the Hella 90mm's).

It removes a marginal amount of weight, something you will certainly NOT feel a difference from. You'd be better off with an agressive alignment. I'm not speaking out of my ***, I've played with the options and I can honestly say unless you want to spend the big bucks and put hella 90mm HID's in buckets or your bumper, in terms of looks and lighting output sticking with the stock sealed beams is the best route.
What's wrong with using lights like these and putting(cutting holes for them) them into the full gt racing header panel like you have?

I would be interested to know if I would just do two per side for the high beam effect? Would the coverage pattern be sufficient and satisfactory?

And if there are any of these lenses from other cars that will fit the 951 bumper (but for a lot less?)
