So - the Strosek project ist mostly finished, just supension, rear hatch and lights have to be adjusted, AC to be filled - thats it! TÜV approval with historical numberplates was done on saturday and the first drive was very promising

Excellent job Reiner the strosek looks amazing I remember seeing my first strosek 951 in 1986 in a road and track it was a purple car and those wide genders and special hatch just looked perfect together. I really like how strosek blended the doors and lower rockers into the wide fenders and those faux vents. Tell us are the front fenders and rear quarters steel or fiberglass? How are the lower rocker panels added on are they just butt welded or brazed? Thanks for keeping that thing alive you do some clean thorough work. last thing where did you get that 968 turbo RS strut brace?

many thanks

Strosek did nothing about the power, but this one came converted to the 250hp engine - they just took care about the outer look what is completely made of glass fiber - the front fenders are still steel with just some glued on additions in the rear lower area.

the strutbrace is one of my products, but just ran out of parts for new ones (I'm just taking care about) - you can find it here: http://www.944er-teile.de/produkte/domstrebe.htm
